Doing a little digging on this vintage Schwinn sight (
https://bikehistory.org/bikes/speedster/) I think I have them nailed down to 1972.
This would have been the first year of the diamond frame for the men. In 1973, only yellow or green were offered and by 1974, it looks like the 2-tone seat was gone and only black offered.
They both have round rear reflectors.
And if I am correct on the 1972, then yes, the red would be Schwinn Burgundy. Really nice in the sunlight!
Both have original handle bar bells and what I guessed to be flashlight holders.
Both are 3 speeds.
Original grips, etc....
Pretty stoked. I look forward to seeing how much shine I can bring back out of both....
