I wear a pair of Columbia "rain pants." They are like ski pants, not tights. I believe they are aimed at hunters. Anyway, they are waterproof and they double as "wind pants" if it's a cold day they insulate my lower core.
I got them on clearance sale, I don't know what they retail for.
