O-o-okay. I mean "lactate" is the anion in lactic acid, but okay. Maybe it's Sodium Lacate? Then they said there's a large production of hydrogen ions.
So I thought, "If you have a lot of hydrogen ions, and a lot of 'lactate', don't you just have lactic acid?
Am I wrong here? I mean, chemistry was 40 years ago, but still.....
I take GCN with a grain of salt, but they’re entertaining at least.
