Have you been on a crushed limestone trail with it? A Bike Friday on the GAP would probably be OK. Not sure about the tandem version. Just hope you get no rain.
Could make things difficult. The good news is the trail drains really quickly if you want to wait things out. But if you need to go in a downpour, things can get a bit mushy.
