I've got 32-mm Conti GP 5000s. I estimate I've got about 6000 km on them. The tread-wear indicators are gone front and rear, which means I should replace them, but they still ride well, so I'm not in a hurry.
I regard booting a tire as an emergency stopgap. I would not ride on a booted tire longer than necessary.
