Both of the only two bikes I have left have kickstands. One of the kickstands I had to build, as there were no good commercial ones that would work like I wanted.
A lot of bicycles aren't made for kickstands--but then again, a lot of people buy racing bicycles, put up with all their shortcomings as general-use bikes, and then never enter any races.
A bicycle is a mere toy, I change the bicycle to fit my needs. Not the other way around.
