Judging by what I read here and my own observations of people's behavior in my part of the world, the corona virus pandemic is likely to become a much worst pandemic due to the cavalier attitude toward the threat. I can understand the mistrust in leadership but I don't understand the mistrust of science. I have a partial theory that watching TV makes people stupid so maybe that's it. In any case, maintaining social distancing would help reduce the spread of infection but for an old guy like myself I'm going to a more austere level of distancing due to the increased threat to my age group. If I still owned a sailboat I would embark on a solo round the word voyage.
