Yea, I can see how it may sound like this sure
But belt drive was my long-standing fetish, and as I'm already started working towards it, I just can't calm down until I'll get what I want. Also, as I'm planning to use it as a winter bike, I hoped for some low-maintenance solution so I won't need to care about dirty and rusty chains and sprockets, and about oiling and cleaning it all constantly.
