Sorry but that's just wrong. I've worn many, many different brands over the past 40+ yrs. Assos bibs are by far the best fitting and I love the quality. Others may differ. FWIW, I won't pay more that $125 for bibs but they are worth every cent.
Shorts only Jeeves. I've worn from $30-$85. And although the more expensive ones felt great (mostly due to more panels) they weren't anymore supportive nor durable than their $40 equivalents.
