Easily fits inside with only the front wheel removed. It's on it's side of course, but can fit tons of other luggage and coolers, and does not effect the passenger/driver space.

Performance was pretty good with the old straight-6, with 26-28 mpg hwy. I am still completing the V8 conversion, but my estimates are... plenty fast, with mid to high 20's mpg hwy.
I was at first aghast that this, as I was thinking of the horrifically and literally butt ugly 1992 Camry wagon.



But the 1985 Cressida wagon isn't bad looking at all. Very clean. And you are not the first to appreciate its potential, apparently. It has RWD? That would make the swap a lot easier I imagine.



Do you have the cargo area set up to attach the tandem on its side?
