Someone here on BF recommended
these pants for winter. They go OVER your pants. Well, I find that they are too warm. I think I've worn them only once or twice. I may not have many occasions to wear them. So if you get cold more easily than I do (which is quite likely), or if you live in a colder place than New York, these might be great. They are more flexible than ski pants, but damn, they are warm.
