Back in the 80's, I managed the first triathlon store in the US in Berkeley California, called, naturally, The First Tri. We never called Mr. Scott by his name. He was simply referred to as "The Man".
The store only lasted a few years. Had we been a Centurion dealer, perhaps it would have lasted longer. Seemed like every runner or swimmer that decided to do a triathlon went out and bought one of those "The Man" bikes.
