I have a 62 cm Paramount, which I can ride comfortably. It was my dream bike at the time. Also, at the time, I was riding 58 cm frames. Upon getting used to that larger frame, I now have settled into 60 cm frames and will soon begin moving out the 58s.
The Paramount has a 60 mm stem, as do the two early Treks. It can be done.
