Righto!
Lobster at the supermarket was $4.99 a pound this week. A price like that does not come around very often, so I bought four of them for my wife and I. I had them all steamed and ready for when she came home that night. We sat there and devoured them, gloating and chuckling to ourselves as if we had found an abandoned bag of cash. The total price for those lobster was $21.04, and they were fabulous! Since then, we talked about how - without much effort - we could have spent $21.00 at McD's. So yeah, I've also spent more cash on foolish trivial unmeaning things. Probably the greatest skill anyone could have is realizing what is worth spending your money on vs what is not.
