SEATPOST CLAMP DILEMMA
So my frame came without a seatpost clamp and it turns out that finding the correct clamp is extremely difficult. Cannondale uses a clamp size of 30.9mm. I went to the LBS and the dude called Cannondale and they can get him the correct clamp in two months!
On ebay, there are options for a 30mm clamp or a 31mm clamp. The seller of the 30mm clamp claims it will work, but it will have to be bent. The 31mm clamp is only .1mm bigger than what's needed, but is this enough to cause slipping?
What is my best option?
