Definitely a crap shoot. Right after one of my frames cracked, I paid an ebay seller over $300 for an almost too small 531c frameset that I absolutely thought I needed ... at the time. <eyeroll> A few months later, I found a beautifully built chromoly Miyata for only $150 that certainly rivals 531c. A year later, I found a well built-up Columbus Bertoni for about the same price as that earlier frameset.
