It also doesn't show up on new posts if you load a thread, post a quick reply, and more replies were posted between page load and the refresh from posting the QR.
I suppose I should post a bug report for that, but I doubt it would get fixed.
Another fun fact: I went and took back a like and now I have the like option back. The counter goes both ways, it seems.
