This one is the good, the bad, and the ugly. I went for my first significant road ride of 2009 today. Twenty-three miles, not real far, but enough and it was on my Bianchi. I really love that steel ride. That's the good. It's clear that I've lost a lot of my conditioning from last year, that's the bad. Then I got dropped by some joker in a full kit with colors matching his newer road bike. I watched him struggle up a hill and I knew, I just knew if this was last September I'd have dropped him like a bad habit. But I'm not in good shape. That's the ugly.
I've got to get in better shape.
