Not the kind of thing I would worry about. Tires are meant to be ridden.
If it makes you feel better, riding on nice clean pavement will wear your drivetrain less so you can say your cost per mile evens out.
Its seems sily but a fatbike is tons of fun in the city. Find a long flight of stairs for some childish amusement.
