Question about bicycle cassette

HI,

Yes, I thought that too.

So I used a magic marker on the rear part of the large cog as I turned it; it is like a buckled wheel ; marker on about a third of the cog , thin to thick to thin.

I tried the inner part of the large cog too; the marker shows on only one point ( four adjacent teeth) ; there are 4 separate ramped sections; so it is not the ramps.
