This is a mixed use hardpack/gravel bridal path that leads into the largest park in the city which is then an entry way to all the gravel roads south and southwest of the metro.

The entire park surrounding area flooded a month ago during the thaw and this is some of the damage. It's a half mile from the river and the flooding went another half mile past this.

The flooding managed to expose some crazy rock under all the packed up dirt/silt/gravel.
And this gutted out sinkhole formation is about 20' long and 3' deep.

The most frustrating part of all this is knowing flooding in this area is expected to increase in frequency over the coming years.
