My frame started life as an o.s.bb. That wAs factory converted to bb30. I am under the impression I need to remove the bearings, and press in a bb86 dub. I'm not sure though. There isn't a lot of info out there and some is contradictory.
On the brighter side, I just learned I have to replace my free hub with some sort of proprietary sram free hub , xdr, thing,another hunerd bux. I have no idea if the even make one for the Chinese wheel I was going to buy.
I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in Sram, sure seems like they went out of their way to make this as difficult as they could.
I am nowhere near making the jump, but aware that if I do so, I prolly would have to get a new rear wheel or at least a new rear hub...although I imagine one can possibly retrofit their freehub body on an existing 11s rear wheel....maybe?
