The cycling club here in the Rocket City cancels at 40F but some people still show up and ride anyways.

I've pretty much given up on the group ride scene and will ride anywhere, anytime. Unless it's 40F and raining.

It doesn't get brutally cold here but the humidity will make it feel a lot colder.

I once got so bored being inside I suited up and rode around town. It started snowing but there was no wind so I just kept riding.

Snow anywhere in Alabama seems to freak people out. So far less traffic to worry about.
