Tuesday was my first ride all the way into Philadelphia for this season. It was a perfect day so I rode down to the South Street bridge to be sure it was still there (yup, its still there). I took this one photo but unless you've done this trip you have no idea. One photo cannot tell the story. A great ride. Left Oaks, PA around 10am, turned at trails end (near Christian St) around noon and stopped for picnic lunch on Venice Island around 12:30. A bit cool at first but warmed up into the high 70s. It was the kind of day that helps you forget about the long winter we had. 52 miles and I felt great.
