The nice thing about flat bars you have a lot of options without spending a lot on cabling and brifters. Lots of people on BF are quite passionate about their choices. I went the Trekking bar route and now have them on my road and gravel bike. Lots of hand positions and most important for me the ability to get very aero. The wind is always blowing here on the coast. Just had Dorian blow through as an example.
