Well, 68.5yo here. 150 miler this past Tuesday, 154 miler yesterday, shorty 59 miler today. Due to prostate cancer surgery I've been clean shaved a number of times and have had no issues. What I do personally is just a trim job and let it go from there. Still use cycling shorts and creme.
