the J bend spoked Schmidt XS , has 2 newer dyno hub products that are smaller and lighter..
Radial , built wheel, they have been designed to use a straight pull spoke, which they got butted..
the 2nd , semi radial, pairs the spokes at the hub, that slight kink allows a spoke to be replaced in the field if needed,
because though still a straight pull spoke the bend would, logically, not have the head and nipple turning together..
Although, can you call it a Brompton if you replace the main frame?
