This sounds like the mid-1980s version, which was a lower mid-range model. Typically we see it with Columbus Aelle R tubing, Campagnolo Triomphe derailleurs, Modolo Corsa brakes and Ofmega Competition cranks. It is a nice enough bicycle but bottom of the Italian manufactured models. FWIW, retail price was around $400 in 1985. IMO, good deal but not great, assuming it is as described.
