But, 20 miles round trip or one way? 20 round trip is probably ok, but 40 miles round trip, you'll see the people on this forum who do extra-long commutes settle on drop bar road bikes.
Agreed. I have that design in my stable. Its fun at 10mph. not really useful at 20mph (which is my commute speed). Its great for an upright relaxed geometry, stable bike ridden in the 5-15mph speed range. Works well with fenders and packs if you go that route. Its a great starter bike for commuting as it is pretty easy to sell if you need to. If you need a fast bike for a longer commute - its not a good match.
