I just installed Odyssey Straddle Rods to the Scott-Pedersen SE Brakes on my "85 Cannondale SM600. The original straddle cable and yoke assembly was too lightweight and easy to adjust.
It was very hard to find those rods in the longer length of the 2 that they made which I needed. It is a very solid-feeling set-up.
