Weird. I'm certainly familiar with getting my pump on, from days when I was lifting as a yute, but I'm trying to think of weight bumps after hard days on the bike. I know that I've come across a few head-scratchers where my weight went in the opposite direction than I'd thought it would, but I never keyed in on a pattern. LSDs almost always result in a dip in weight for me, but now I'm wondering if more punchy rides are the ones that see a bump.
Maybe I'll have a look over the numbers.
