We have had parrots in the yard for the past two weeks. Or perhaps they are just passing through every morning. I hear them but haven't bothered to get up and look for them. In Belize they were as common as blue jays in Ohio.
There was a flock of parrots on Telegraph Hill in San Francisco. I remember seeing them when we'd talk The Older Boy, then a toddler, to one of the city playgrounds there. They were something to see, and hear!
Apparently that flock has grown, and divided into subflocks, and spread its territory.
