On the 37mm Junior bike I got some time ago, I ran into a problem getting wheels that fit the frame. After measuring & confiding on a few members here, I ended-up buying a set of
Alex 451mm clincher rims in hopes of having a set of wheels made w/ the Specialized hubs I have. When I brought the rims & the frame to the wheelman for building, he said that that there would not be enough room for the wheels to fit, esp up front
(it would hit the bottom of the fork crown). With that & not knowing what to do, I put the project on the backburner. Maybe 18" wheels for this one instead of 20"?
I was also set to get a
Sinz crank w/ short crankarms & 46 or 47/34 rings...but, not knowing sure where I stood, I bailed...
