That's interesting. I have been to Calgary twice a year or more, for the last ten years. I have many friends and family up there. I also spend all my time out on the town there. Virtually everyone I have met in Calgary loves the U.S. and vice-versa. Somehow, I sense a bit of discontent in someones heart. Tis' a shame.
As long as you are friendly and meet people face-to-face as equals, almost anyone in the world will be friendly to you. It's the cowboy in-your-face Bush-is-god stuff that will get you in trouble. Leave the politics out, at least until you buy the guy a drink.
