Mom did all the hair cutting till I got a job and started having the pro's do it. That was @15 years of age. My hair was a bit of a challenge for her, and for me. We had lots of fighting over my hair. I had extremely curly hair. And on top of that it was thick, cant get a comb through it thick. I sported an afro for a while in high school unasisted by any kind of product. That's how thick it was. Oh the horrors.....
When I was young, a professional barber nicked my ear with his clippers. He gave me a lollipop, but I wasn't so easily bought. I have avoided barbers, as much as possible, ever since.
