'yori; as the others have mentioned, it should be ok, but I would go a bit thicker unless the need is very assured to be "easy rider". Although I wouldn't do so, I have seen a few bikes build with 0.4 in the middle. Have also see at least one of those being replaced after a rider tumbled and put his knee into the DT.
