Yeah, today's ride wasn't terribly pleasant. The cold, damp and wind isn't the worst thing in the world, but damn it I hate it when it gets slippery. We had a little bit of snow overnight - the ground was warm enough that it didn't stick on the roads, but bridges/overpasses had a nice crust on them and provided some, uh, clenched moments. That and and all of the wet leaves made for some slow going at times. I think that it's about time I fire up the trainer for workouts and just look to outside rides as more leisurely, get-out-of-the-house sanity breaks.
