The Vittoria graphene skinwalls are just as fast as the GP, and sometimes you can get them on sale for a reasonable price.
I got a pair of the Vittoria Corsa G+ Graphenes for $65 a few weeks ago. Great tires. They're on my 88 Miyata Twelve Hundred.
