Down here that’s not a “clear road”, that’s “OMG no way I can make it to work” road.
Well, in the interest of full disclosure, that was a side gravel road where we stopped so my buddy could take a bio break. We were on blacktop for the ride (with frequent slush piles). A couple of weekends ago, a part our route was just glazed ice, but no turns or braking were required, so we forged on. We did avoid that route yesterday, however.
