It's also extremely refreshing to see someone go ahead and polish up a bike of this age, rather than succumb to the nonsense that unpolished paint and grime are somehow part of the patina (they aren't).

Thank you for the affirmation! I think we share the same focus on these old gems. It’s a responsibility I feel obligated to fulfill when finding such a bicycle. This one is a preservation. Lube all bearings, polish what can be polished and rebuild the wheels. Thanx for following.
