I don't know what Taiwan factories made the various type through the years for Specialized but interesting I found this one last year for free on the road side, though labeled another brand. Even had the same look / style Rockhopper font.

A friend needing a bike now has it. I forget what brand but we stripped the original pink decals. Cleaned and serviced, installed better rubber (lightly used). Swapped out the cheap 1st gen non working Rapid fire STI trigger shifters to a matched and simplistic index thumb units. Added the BF sticker ;")

Terrific all around utility bike.
AHHH it looks so cool! I'm excited but a little nervous. I haven't heard back from them today about meeting up tomorrow Though my own mother isn't texting me back either, so maybe people are just busy on Friday night
