I have a cheap Specialized pump from 2004 that still serves me well. Even on the original 'Switch-hitter' head. I bought a Lezyne CNC pump as an 'upgrade' in 2010ish. First the head required new o-rings to seal after maybe one year of use. Then the gauge broke in such a way that you could no longer even pump with it. It has sat with that broken gauge ever since and the $40 Specialized pump keeps on going.
