I haven't done that, but if you're not diabetic, the feet should heal fairly quickly. I try to leave blisters intact for a couple of days before popping them (which may not be possible here).
Good dressings, and perhaps some antiseptic cream for the first couple of days.
You might look at corn donut pads... really big ones?
