I have used these on a couple bikes and they were easy to work with and there are many configurations so if at some point you wanted to switch to non-TA or single speed or whatever it's pretty easy. I prefer small dropouts and I don't really like that a highly stressed frame member is bolted on but, they seem to be holding up to daily commuting for a couple years without loosening. You'll want to get a sacrificial set of the inserts as heat will discolor them when tacking them with brass. If you're using Tig you might be quick enough to not transfer much heat and avoid the discoloration.
