We were walking through Woolworths (grocery store in Australia not related to any North American Woolworths) about the time when I started with MFP and spotted a glass scale with an aqua tinge to it. It fit with our decor and looked pretty. It had tare and several units (most importantly, grams, of course), so that's the one we got.
I've been using it almost daily for 2 years now.
