I have some cheapo Vietnamese tires that I picked up over here in Cambodia that run a wide 38mm
check out this thread about 27x1 3/8 tires.
I have a few of these cheapo tires at my house in Lancaster, PA if you really need some.
I think I shipped 3 of them in a med priority box plus I need about $5 a tire.
