Very interesting timing on this post for us here. A body was just found in a creek right off a very busy MUP I ride multi-times a week. Homicide, it appears. Lotta somewhat sketchy people on this trail during dark hours. Significant sections on this trail are not asily accessible by any roadway. I have always wondered, if something bad happened (someone having a cardiac event, hit by a deer, cougar attack--whatever) and I were still able to dial 911, how I would describe for them where exactly I was. This trail is about 30 miles in length or so. Not really sure I could tell them just where I was on certan sections of the trail. I use RWGPS--maybe that could help?
