I guess I’m lucky that my birthday is a day after my anniversary, which is a day after my wife’s birthday. The result is I dedicate my time to my wife and don’t worry about riding, unless it so happens that I have a bike with me. As we are typically doing something grand like Italy or Ireland, I usually don’t and thus don’t have to worry about that tradition.
