Crank Up The Mileage.
Crank it up good now, ya hear! A century every Wednesday, 3 and 1/2 hours at least most other days. Only have time for a two hour ride? Just skip riding and get some errands done, max it out the next day. It's the only thing that works for this older rider. As of late dieting doesn't work for me, I feel like I'm getting the flu if I can't eat well. I could fast easily when I was young.
