Weather: +2-4 F, mostly cloudy with light snow, south wind ~10MPH

Ride: 15.1 miles, mostly snow covered roads with a bunch of dirt on hills...sloooow traveling.

What did you wear?
Same as last time, but added:
  • Cycling shorts! under the three other leg layers.
  • Showers Pass Club Convertible pants, just the top portion, over the other leg layers
  • Bonus wool face cover thing made from old socks, over the balaclava
  • Cycling jersey over the merino sweaters (club fit obviously), mainly to have pockets for emergency stuff (foot warmers, plastic bags, lighter, dry glove liners)
How did it work out?
Just about right. Two layers on my face was good for the wind. This is kinda gross, but the condensation in my balaclava provided a bit of, um, drinkable fluid.
